I just applied for the Disney Premier Visa Credit Card and was approved. My question is does anyone know how the 200.00 statement credit works? It says that I have to purchase $50.00 before the 200 statement credit is applied. Does this mean that if I spend 200.00 on my card that it will basically be free?

I had to spend $500 for the bonus, but after I hit $500 the $200 was credited to my account within a couple days.

The offer is on the disneyworld.disney.go.com website. Scroll down about 1/3 of the way. It is on the left side, just below the large picture. It is for a $200 statement credit after the first purchase.

I got an offer for friends to get a $200 gift card when they spent $500. I like the credit idea.

It been a while since I got my card. But the offer at that time was spend $50 (and pay that bill) and they credit your account with 200 points. This 200 point balance can then be turned into a $200 Disney gift card. I've never seen them offer a statement credit. Maybe its something new ?
