I haven't gotten the Disney Visa yet and I was just wondering what are the advantages of having it? I used to have the Disney Club card and the only reason I had that was to get a discount on my trips to Fort Wilderness. Can you get a discount with the Disney Visa also? Any info would be great...thanks!

With the double bonus they have been offering , we were able to get a "gift card" good for $92 on our last trip down. Of course this comes from making charges on the card but we NEVER go over the 30 days limit anyway.

Are there any discounts for hotel rates or camping at Fort Wilderness with this card?

There can be. You can also ask for AAA rates and passholder rates ( if you have an annual pass) . You do NOT have to go through AAA to get the AAA rate, but you must be a member.

I use it to pay for EVERYTHING (bills, groceries, gas, etc.) and then pay it off at the end of the month. Usually earn about 20 to 30 reward dollars a month. Just had a recent signup bonus of 50 reward dollars so my in-laws signed up too. Reward dollars are good at wdw, cruises, dl, disney store, etc. Offer various specials (usually no interest for x amount of months) and send coupons on disney products every once in awhile. Definetly a good deal for us.
