Is there a discount on port days? I read somewhere that there is a 20% discount on Spa treatments.

One appt is booked during port departure time. How long does boarding take close to 5 pm (departure is 5:45pm). Is 30-40 mins sufficient?

In my experience, a port day is considered the entire day, whether you have left the port in the afternoon or you are actually docked. Is that what you are asking?
Not all massages are covered unfortunately. Standard Swedish massages are not- but hot stone massages are.

Yes, on port days only. Also double check that the Disney Visa discount is applied to your services. (that's how I found out mine wasn't)

I just reserved a time online. Do you mean I need to tell them about a discount before the service?

I booked a deep tissue massage; I’m not sure about the hot stone massage. Can I switch the day of? There was only 1 time available (we booked our cruise late) before dinner (second seating). I don’t want to cancel and loose it. I’ve never had a hot stone massage. Do they just place stones on your back after a massage? Do you have a link to the promotion? I don’t see any exclusions for deep tissue.

I got a card for a 20% discount (port or sea days only) to use within 3 days of my birthday since we were celebrating it during the cruise. I also asked about a discount for DVC members and they said it was also 20% off only on port or sea days and not on any merchandise at Senses Spa.

I was able to change the massage to a stone massage for the same time. I had to call to cancel one of our appts (cancel button was not highlighted). The CM read the fine print after I changed regarding the discount but it didn’t mention that deep tissue was excluded, only that the massage had to be on a port day.

I didn’t realize that the massages will conflict with shows (we have second seating dinner, so would have to watch the 6:15 pm show). They couldn’t tell me the schedule. We don’t want to miss Frozen and Alladin.

I assumed the discount would be applied, so after the service when I was back up at the counter when I checked in, that's when I asked if the discount had been applied.

hot stone massage uses warm stones as part of the massage. it's part of the massage technique when they're massaging your muscles and various parts. It's actually quite nice!

I was told that my Disney Visa Card needs to be on file for incidental charges (add to account during online check in or on the ship prior to my appt) and then my account will show that I’m eligible and the discount gets applied once I charge to my room. It’s seems like it should be automatic.

I was told the same thing...and mine wasn't. Guest Services had to be called to get that sorted out. Also I had to show the actual credit card to prove it was a Disney Visa.

Hmm. They should ask about discounts before treatments.
