Disney Visa Rewards

I'm sure this has been answered before, but I was looking for a quick answer...

We have the Disney Visa, and got the rewards card with our earnings last October before our last WDW trip. We used up all of the rewards at that time & haven't touched the card since. According to the Disney Visa website, our rewards card expires 12/2005. We want to move our accumulated rewards to our card before our WDW trip 12/4. Should I do it now? How quickly are they transferred if I already have the card?

Once you have a card in hand, it is instant. You can do it over the phone, or go to the website and do it there. You have to have a minimum of 10 reward points before you can transfer to a card.

They let you have 2 rewards cards per account. So if you're not sure you'll use up all your rewards, or if there is possibility you won't be able to go, call and ask for another card. The new expiration date on the new card will be 12/06. That way you have an extra year before the points expire, and you don't take the chance of losing them. I just did this for our trip in November, we got new cards and I'll transfer the rewards the day before.

Another question about the Disney Reward Card; when checking into the hotel/resort, do you just present the card to the CS and they credit your account or when you check out?
