Last week in my Disney Visa card newsletter on the back page is a referral for your friends and family and if they apply and qualify for a credit card they get $50 Dream dollars when they make their first purchase. My sister signed up. I am sure that I am just being a baby, but does anyone else think that it is unfair that they automatically get $50. I don’t use my card on a daily basis. Just for bigger purchases and it has taken me 6 months to finally get $50. I would trade in the pin that I got for reward dollars. I think that if you refer people to get a card that you should get something too. My aunt is also getting a card. Anyone else feel this way?

I thought about it and then I realized I was just the second card on DH's so I applied for my own card. Overall though, I think they have really dropped the ball on this. Special promos that include only certain groups--even discover gavet he 10 % on groceries back to all members. I use the card for everything therefore I never get the bonus point offers. The coupon offers don't compare to the offers we used to get with DC and overall I am very disappointed. I have earned enough since the inception of the card to pay for DD's child PAP, but in the grand scheme of things it still wasn't the best rewards program. Overall I give the DIsney VIsa a 7 out of 10. Prompt courteous service, but too much inconsistentcy and the offers do not replace the DC.
