Disney Visa Rewards ?

Hi all,

I have my visa rewards card all ready to go and am holding out as long as I can to put the $'s on it. Whats the best way to load it? Also how soon afterloading it can you spend them?

Both times I loaded my rewards while at the parks. Be sure to have your Visa card with you when you load your card. The rewards are ready to use when you hang up the phone!

If you already have a card in hand, you can load the card over the phone or online. As soon as you complete the transfer, the rewards dollars are ready to use

Cool beans, I just did the transfer on line and am excited to have $180 to spend! Add this to my $100 Gift card for staying at SSR and the $25 one I got when I applied for the Visa I have $305, to spend!!! Oh yeah baby! I still have time to rack up some more cash!!

I am SO excited....can you tell!!!@!!

OH shoot! I am so glad I read this. I almost forgot. I need to order a Rewards card for my May 9th-16th trip. How soon should I order it? How long does it take to get it? Is there a minimum you have to load it with when you order it? If I don't use all the money I put on it, when do they expire? Thanks!

Aubriee..the reward cards are available at Guest Relations in MK and at DTD. There may be other locations as well. That card can be loaded immediately and used immediately. I don't know how long a card takes to arrive if it needs to be mailed to you. Hold on to that card as it can be reloaded and reused again and again..but don't worry if you throw it away after it's emptied, they will reissue another one.

There will be an expiration date on the card. If you want it mailed, it will take at least 2 weeks, so since you're going soon, you may want to do it at WDW. I think there's a minimum of $20 or so to get them on the rewards card.

Thanks you two! I really wanted to order it, because I am going directly from my resort to Epcot my first day and want to use some points to upgrade an old unused MYW hopper to another AP.

I just want to upgrade my park hopper ticket that I didn't use last Sept to another AP and maybe use it for tips. OK, I ordered the Disney Rewards card yesterday morning and the site said it should be here in about 7 days. I only put $300.00 on it, so I have two questions. If I don't use it all will the card still be good for my late Sept/Oct trip and can I just call before I go to add more points on it for that trip? Also if I do happen to use the whole 300.00 this trip, can I just call and have them immediately add more points. I don't think I'll need them. The May trip is paid for with the DDP and I'm not one to buy many souvineers.

Yes, I stopped using my other credit card and now use only the Disny Visa. In the last few months I've also started paying my electric bill, cable bill, cell phone bill, gas and groceries and eating out with it, then I go online every week or two and pay it off. The points added up very quickly doing this. As long as I pay it off every couple of weeks, I don't mind using it like a debit card.

Thanks, that what I needed to know. I also have a trip planned for Dec 12th-20th, so I guess if the card expires in Dec it would be at the end of Dec, so it should still be good for that trip too?

The rewards card is attached to the Disney Visa card. You earn "rewards" when you spend money on the visa. Anyone who has the Visa can get it.

you can reload or get a new rewards card at any guest relations counter at any park or downtown Disney. There will be a phone you can use to call Visa.

Hi, All! Great ideas on paying your bills with the card. I'm so going to do that! We need to rack up those points. Will they let us buy Disney dollars with the gift card? Can you use your gift card at the Downtown Disney restaurants? Can I use it at the carts for snacks?
