Disney Visa Rewards

I hope you don't mind if I butt in on this thread but I have also been considering the Disney VISA (for like 2 years )! Anyway I have a related question: can you pay on-line direct from your checking account? I hate, hate, hate writing/mailing checks and I also like being able to check my account as many times a month, or a day as I wish. I checked their website thoroughly a couple of months ago and did not see anything to answer this. Thanks and maybe this will finally make up my mind.

You absolutley can. I think you can even set it up so you get your statement e-mailed to you. I pay all my bills online, usually cuz I end up waiting till the last minute and snail mail would only get me BIG late fees on everything. The Disney Visa is well worth it if you like going to Disney World. You can also redem your points for movie ticket vouchers and for Disney DVDs. I've never done this since I try to rack up the points for our trips to pay for souviners and snacks.

Does anyone know how long you can allow the awards to accrue?

We have had our card for about a year and on our statement there is a place that tells you when any points expire, for us it is 2012. Someone posted that they thought that the points go away when the card expires, this is not the case, my card expires in 2009 and my first points don't expire until 2012.

Once you move your points on to the "Rewards Card" they expire with in a year. So once your rewards card, not your credit card, expires you would loose any points that were on it.
