Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but I am thinking of getting a disney visa but I can't find anything that shows a rewards chart? Can someone please post a link or just tell me? Thank in advance. :wizard: Sandi

Haha maybe this is me being stupid. What is a rewards chart?

Do you mean how many reward points you earn??

You earn 1%. So for every 100 you spend you will earn 1 reward dollar.

This is true. And you can use them anywhere in the parks, apply them to your room, at restaurants, or at the Disney Stores...

Hope this helps... :wave2:

I have a question about the card too. I heard that you can use the rewards points for annual dues to DVC, does anyone know if this is true?

Ok I wasn't sure if at some point you qualified for a free night or something like that. So it is just 100.00 equals 1.00 I can spend on anything disney. Thanks

I have the Disney Rewards and just got it in the mail yesterday :cool1:

You have to have at least $20 on your rewards account to get the Disney Rewards gift card. Once you have the card you can transfer over more money as long as you have $10 or more. So if you have a card with $20 on it you cannot transfer $5 over a month later you have to have at least $10.

You can use the rewards card for Disney merchandise and food. I'm not sure about passes. :confused3 Hope this helps.

Also, there are times when Disney VISA holds specials and you earn more than 1%.

As far as the DVC dues, I'm not sure about that but I do know someone who was able to purchase their DVC on their Disney VISA (with ESPN discount it was about $10,000). They received Disney rewards and then paid off the DVC. (So my guess would be you could charge your DVC dues.)

Hi everyone :wave2:

milestogo - I used my disney rewards to pay part of my annual dvc dues this past January.

I also used them for our DCL cruise last year. They are great for anything disney related - I wish they offered double rewards more often.

You can apply the rewards towards your DVC maintenance fee each year. My DD and DSIL pay their DVC Dues with their rewards.

We used our Disney Reward Visa for my whole Master's Degree! Since we stay offsite at a timeshare now, we use the Rewards for dining. We haven't paid cash for an onsite meal in the last two trips! In fact, last trip fell within the statement closing date, when they release more points. I called from my cellphone (in MK) and had that month's points transferred to the Rewards card in my possession. The transfer was immediate and it paid for part of dinner that night!
DH and I now joke about major purchases. When we bought a new washer and dryer it became not a major purchase, but one "free" dinner at Chef Mickey's!
