Disney Visa Rewards at DVC

Can you redeem Disney Visa rewards at the DVC at Hilton Head??? The brochure from Visa says you can use the rewards at DVC - but I'm not sure what they mean by that.

According to disneyrewards.com they may be used for shopping at Signals and dining at Tide Me Over.

Can you use Disney Visa rewards or gift cards to pay for your DDP when you check in? Can you use them to buy theme park tickets? I am pretty sure you can, but wanted to get it confirmed. Thanks!

I know you can use rewards for park ticket purchases, not sure about DDP.

I paid for my DDP with Disney Rewards when I went in January. Since DVC pays upon checkin anyway, I just presented both my and my wife's cards at checkin and had them emptied to Pay for DDP before I put the rest on my credit card.

I just used mine last week to purchase some great stuff in the gift shop (Broad Creek). Loaded the points to my card by phone outside while overlooking the marsh and walked right in and used them. BTW, Broad Creek has a trivia contest each day. They had the YOMD tinkerbell pins as prizes when we were there. My kids loved that, as we had not received any of those at WDW last year.

We also used our Disney rewards card to pay for the DDP, and then put the balance of the dining plan on our credit card.

We have definitely bought AP's and other tickets with Rewards card.

Also when we check in we attach a credit card to have charging privileges with room key card. Then before we check out I go down and payoff the accumulated charges with whatever is on the Rewards card at the time - sadly it never covers the whole thing!
