Disney Visa promotion question

Before promotions are offered to the general public, they are usually offered to Disney Visa holders. How do I find out that there is a new offer before it is offered to the general public? We are planning an August trip this summer and I am hoping for some kind of discount.

Thank you for this question! I never thought about that and my husbands email is linked to our account, not mine. He would probably think its spam and delete it lol! I will have to change it. This is why I love these boards, what I don't think of someone else will.

They're not consistent at all. I think I get emails for maybe 1/3 of their promotions. I usually see them listed here on the DIS first.

If you go to the chase website and sign in, on the top there are 4 "buttons". Click the one that says "card perks". "Limited time only" card perks. That should bring you to current promotions and discounts.

I received the same Disney Dining email but do not see the special offers on the site.

I just got home and looked at the site as well. The only perks I see are for Aulani, a Dopey pin, and an offer for the movie club. I haven't gotten that email from Chase though.

DV offers will not be listed on the Visa site in advance. Sometimes they don't show up on the website until several hours after they go live.

I normally check the Disney Visa website everyday @ chase.com/disney. You must be registered with your card on that website.
On the "my accounts" tab there is a banner that says "Check out the latest Cardmember offers today". If you will click on that it will take you to all the offers. Today, there are 3: special savings at Aulani Resort, the collector pin and the movie club.
Currently no offers for room discounts or free dining.

I got the **************** email this morning and could open the link that said "read more" but now when I click on it, it says "nothing found" .

But I do remember it listing the dates for the room discount were June 15 - August 28. Not completely sure about the exact discounts per room level but it did say it was coming out tomorrow for Disney Visa holders and then Monday for the public.

ETA: you have to call to book. We will know shortly after 7am whether or not it is live. Reports will start coming in here and on Facebook. It may or may not be on the rewards site early in the morning (either way, booking by phone would be 7am). Sometimes it appears there after lunch. Also, once it is on the rewards site, it will list the date that the rest of the public is eligible.

Just to give everyone an idea of how great our Disboard friends are about getting the info on new/upcoming promo's out to everyone.

• I read yesterday on disboards about the new/upcoming promo's with the exact dates that they were offering.
• At 3:41pm today I got an email from "Disney Rewards" detailing the new promo's (a whole day later)
• I have been checking the Chase.com/disney wesite since 7am this morning, NOTHING has been posted for the new room discounts at all. Just checked again and still nothing!

Now to just hang on, fingers crossed and send myself some pixie dust for September free dining for my dates!

Here is a question......since this promo can be booked thru 6/6, is that an indication that the September promo's won't come out till 6/7 or later???

I received an email on Thursday, but didn't see it on their website. It's going to be announced to the public on the 17th. It's for room discounts from June 15th until August 28th.

I wish we were going this year.
