Disney Visa photo op?

I remember hearing about this and was wondering if it is still going on...has anyone done this? I think I read it was happening at CA Adventure...We will be there Dec. 15-20 and would love to get a free photo and have a special visit with the characters. I would appreciate any info on where, when, etc...... THANKS!

We did this in July it was down stairs at Airels Grotto between park opening and I believe 11:30 (before the restaurant opens). Just show the attendent your Disney Visa and they will allow you to enter.

We got a photo of Chip and Dale in Salior Outfits (it was still Captain Mickey Theme then). Not sure what Characters it is now that it is Princess Theme.

I just did it yesterday.
Came in right after the park opens around 10:20-ish. Unfortunately the photographer hasn't made it in yet. So the nice CM helped me took picture with Mickey and Goofy with my own camera. Then told me that I can comeback in about 10-15mins and the photographer should be in.
When I returned half hour later, Mickey and Goofy had been replaced by Chip and Dale.
So I got a 2 for 1-er...

After they took your pics, they'll give you a voucher for 1 free 5x7 to take to the Greetings from CA store after 2 hours. There you get to pick which picture you like.

I think that was awesome.
Done it at WDW too and it's a great perk.

We took our picture in July too. We had just Goofy. Since I carry 2 Disney Visa cards (one in my name, and a joint account with DH) we got two free pictures, so we were able to get one of the pictures we took when we entered the park that morning, along with a picture of our DD's with Goofy (since our famiy shot with Goofy didn't turn out well). This free program is supposed to go until sometime next year, which means we'll get to do this when we're in WDW next June!!!
