Does anyone know if there are any special perks available for Chase Disney Visa Cardholders?

Thanks, Someone posted about a lounge at Epcot? A special viewing area for Illuminations? Any information on things like that?

Thanks, that link takes you to the same place. Am I missing something? Is there a lounge or viewing area for card members?

Maybe I'm just confused, the link shows the location for character meet and greet. Is that all that they offer for card members?

There is a Chase Lounge in the American Adventure pavilion, on the third floor, but this is only during the Food and Wine Festival. From my understanding, there were limited availability wristbands for Illuminations and/or the Eat to the Beat concert series? (The concert requiring a Disney visa, not just a Chase visa)

I'm not sure of current availability for the bands.

Year round they offer the 2 M&Gs (One in Epcot, and one in DHS) and then the various discounts. During F&W where Chase is a big sponsor, they do offer a cardholder lounge. There have been several threads about it that cover the who what when and where in full detail. Just search the boards.

I used the M&G perks during my last trip. I normally wouldn't think of doing M&G but it was very fast and a lot of fun!

Is the Illuminations viewing area only during Food and Wine?

There is no special Illuminations viewing area for Visa cardholders.

It was a one time offering.

There are no regular lounges for Chase Visa cardholders, just the one during F&W.

Thanks for the link, others have posted it as well. I'm trying to determine if there are other Disney Visa Perks that aren't listed here. Such as viewing options for Illuminations or lounges at any of the parks.
There is an IllumiNations reserved viewing area near Italy for Chase cardholders - only during F&W. Its been posted a few times recently - you can run a search for Chase or Chase Lounge as it's usually included in those discussions.

I think a big perk of the card is some discounts that are wildly popular like free food disney visa cardholders usually get first chance to book rooms which makes it a little easier to get the discount and the room or at least the resort you want to be in.

Also someone correct me if I'm wrong but aren't some of the discounts using the card at places that no other discount is available? Also can't you also use it to get a discount on a room or package when no other discount is available to you?

side note: I actually started my daughter off with a bank account getting her the disney visa debit card. it's not commonly known it exists but a little googling and it'll pop right up.

Some things I like are that you can use it to pay for a Disney trip and have 6 months to pay it off with no interest and you earn reward points any time you make a purchase. Once you earn a certain amount of points you can request a rewards card and transfer however many points you want to it.

We didn't realize this until our last trip, but for most stores in the parks if you spend $50 you will get a 15% discount if you pay with a Disney Visa. The only store we couldn't get that discount was one of the jewelry stores in MK.

Currently, yes.

Not really. The Disney Visa discounts fairly closely mirror ones that are available to either DVC or AP holders (a subset thereof) and I can't think of anyplace that didn't offer discounts to one of those two that I could get a Disney Visa discount.

And there is no magical Disney Visa room discount. The closest thing I can think of would be the 6 months interest free for bookings made using yur Disney Visa. Yes, currently they do typically offer discounts to Disney Visa cardholders before the general public or annual passholders, but once they sell out of discounted rooms they are gone.

A cm a few weeks back did there were lounges in all the parks I chalked her up to being misinformed sadly I guess I'm right.... unless they used to be

Chase Visa lounges? Nope. Lounges do exist in multiple places that normal guests don't have access to, mostly in Epcot but there are some in MK as well. Can't recall any in DHS or AK, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
