My first question is probably a dumb one but...

I see a lot of people mentioning discounts for disney visa card holders. I have had a disney visa card for several years and have never gotten any offers, pins, or communications from them about Disney deals. Is there some way to register my card to receive this info? What kinds of discounts should I be getting?

I don't think anyone got emails about the current promo, but its out there....just need to call either your travel agent or Disney, tell them the dates, see what kind of discount is available and for what resort, and if you're interested leave the deposit with your Disney Visa. Tomorrow it goes open to the general public so I'm going to guess that the phone lines will be much busier.

If I call today I could use this discount before it goes public tomorrow? Is this for the stay play and dine that everyone is talking about?

You'll only get the discount if there are rooms available under that discount. Some rooms/views are excluded. Best bet would be to call today if you have a Disney Visa.

I don't get emails, but the Disney visa website is always current with card member discounts. It was on there when it was first announced. I check it weekly.

I have the disney visa and don't know anything about the stay play dine promo or RO. Can someone give me the specifics because the link someone posted doesn't show anything
TIA

Just to clarify... The offers were only available October 4-7 for advance booking to Disney Visa cardholders. They're no longer available, that's why they're no longer listed on the website. I posted the link more to address the fact that SitarFamily said they have been a cardholder for several years and have never received any offers, not just the current ones. If you don't get the emails, just keep checking that link for any current offers. I hate to see anyone miss out. :goodvibes

I get e-mails periodically that mention special offers for cardholders and I don't remember doing anything special like "registering" my card. I just gave them my e-mail address when I applied for the card.

From what I see on the forum it seems like whatever promos the visa card holders get, the general public eventually get as well.....if this is the case what is the advantage to having one. If this is not the case, can someone tell me what perks you get that the general public doesn't get?

Thanks!
