We were at my DS's soccer game yesterday. One of the moms told me she found an offer to receive a credit card from Chase Disney Visa & they offered $200 gift card for the parks. She will be receiving it in 4-6 weeks. They are going to Disney in Nov. My other friend wants to apply for this offer too but can't find it. Does anyone out there on the DISboards know about this offer? And where can my friend find this offer for the Disney Visa?

It is by invitation only. I wish it wasn't...I would totally jump on that!

And where can my friend find this offer for the Disney Visa?

You don't find them, they find you. You get a letter in the mail with an offer code. The offer code has to match your name and address so you can't give it away.

I told a friend of mine about this, and he went online and started looking at disney trips, and saving possible itineraries etc, and he got the $200 offer pretty quickly.

I got one in the mail while I was at Disney! :lmao:

I just applied and hopefully will get the card soon.

Dawn

I got it and use the card once and it was one, spent it in December in Disney.

I had this offer sent to me. It is legit. You get 200 points added to your rewards account which equals $200 to spend on disney products, travel etc. We used ours on our DCL cruise and it paid for all our excursions and some of our tips, with the $200 and our OBC we didn't pay hardly anything OOP onboard!

We got one addressed to our family. It had our name and address with an invitation code. When you use the card once, you get $200 reward dollars credited to your account. I was told it takes about 6-8 weeks for the credit to show up in your account.

There are 2 ways you can get this offer. My DH just got the gift card offer-$200 card should be on its way soon.

Three months ago I got the 150 rewards points bonus. That one is building, and should be all set to pay for Ohana on our next trip, but I'll have to order a rewards card to get the $$ :)

Actually they just mail you a gift card.

There are 2 different offers - one is for reward points, one is for an actual gift card. Both are by invitation only. I got the 200 rewards points offer earlier this year & took advantage of it. I already had a Disney VISA, now I have 2!

Unless you got that second card in someone elses name that would be a violation of Chase's TOS which clearly states that the offer is a one-time deal for first-time carmembers only. My wife got a $200 GC but I couldn't get one because I already had a Disney Visa in my name. I got a backpack in DTD as my incentive.

this is for the 100 dollar gift card. You can then email chase through your online chase account and ask them to match the 200 dollar offer.
1020008/Default.aspx - i cant post links. the first part of the link is my chase credit cards . com, take away the spaces

Many people have obtained the new credit card offer. You can have up to 3 cards in your name, and generally speaking, they still will give you the incentive advertised for new customers

I'm not sure how you get it, but do know that the offer comes to you in the mail.

I got an offer for $150, Dh got an offer for $200. We both got the cards and are using the $350 towards our tickets :thumbsup2

Really? Is this something new? I called Chase when I got the offer because I thought it was too good to be true. I told them I was already a card holder & they said I could have up to 5 (I swear she said five!) cards in my name with Chase. I've seen many posts on the DIS of people having multiple Chase Disney VISA's - so either Chase has relaxed their rule (or are just randomly issuing cards) or it's recently gone into effect. :confused3

Anyone else here have more than 1 in the same name?

My husband and I have a joint account. Two weeks ago we got the $200 gift card offer sent to our family. So I went online and applied in my name only and got an immediate approval. The next day, I applied in my husband's name and they said I would hear from them in 7-10 days. I thought for sure he would be denied, but then on Saturday, he received his card in the mail. So now we will each have a $200 card for our December trip!

I'm so jealous! I received this $200 offer by mail about a month ago, but it was for my maiden name, so my husband said we wouldn't be able to get the incentive because of that fact. He threw out the offer and said we'd just have to wait for another one to come through... Ugh! I would LOVE to get one of these to use on monthly bills, then pay off immediatley so that we can earn some rewards $ to pay for trips- seems brilliant!

Are you sure they didn't mean 5 separate Chase cards rather than 5 of the same kind? I have a Chase Southwest Rewards card, A Chase Disney Visa and a Chase Amazon rewards card. That would make more sense than 5 Chase Disney Visas.

So yes.....we both have two cards in our names.

I have the Disney Rewards Visa offer sheet right here in front of me. In the first paragraph on the back it says:

This offer is limited to a one-time award to new cardmembers of a $200 Disney Gift Card

and

First-time cardmembers only

That's just quoting the relevant bits but I'd be happy to provide a screenshot of the entire agreement if you prefer. Now to me I don't see a lot of wiggle room in those sentences. Perhaps you would care to explain how you came to interpret that as being able to apply as many times as you like, have multiple $200 rewards, whatever.

Not to say you can't get away with it. You're living proof that people fall through the cracks. However, that doesn't make it right. So if you know of some secret part of the cardholder agreement that says you can apply for as many $200 rewards as you want please share it with the board.

They are probably more interested in your SS # than your name. If you get the offer again you could try calling and asking them about that.

You have to be a pretty heavy user to make it worth your time. For instance, on a recent trip to Downtown Disney we had dinner at Fultons Crab House and paid for it with Disney reward Dollars. It took $15,000 worth of charges to get enough reward dollars to pay for it.
