I can't believe how many applications they have sent me in the past month! At least a dozen! 3 this week alone and it's only Wednesday LOL. Wonder if i'll get one tomorrow.:scratchin

Anyone else feel the need to enter the Visa witness protection plan? It's gettin ridiculous.

They keep sending them to me too. The funny thing is, I already have one!:teeth:

Same here......I almost called and told them I already had one! Think of all the wasted paper!

 I WOULDN'T MIND THEM SENDING THEM TO ME IF THEY WOULD APPROVE ME !!! Now it s really ridiculous as I get refused , what a huge waste of paper :Pinkbounc :bounce: Send out less paper and maybe the ticket prices will not keep going up.

I agree Nadinenurse,
I keep getting the applications, but I was refused. I think Disney has something against Nurses. What do you think? Let's start a boycot. Nah, I would never survive if I had to boycott Disney.
I called them and asked why they keep sending me the applications if they refused me and they said I must be on alot of their lists. Since I own DVC and visited WDW 9 times last year I would think I would be on a few lists. Peggie

That's funny...I've only received one and that was with my vacation planning package. I succumbed and applied yesterday, so we'll see.

Ugh. At least I'm not alone. I get one at least every week! Pretty tempting for a college student!

Same thing here! :p

It's probably Bank One that's actually send the majority of the applications out. Even though it's a Disney Visa, it's still issued by B1 and they send out like crazy. Plus, they don't "scrub" their lists, so you will keep getting apps even if they decline you. It's ridiculous, but they make lots of money, so I guess they don't mind spending it on mail. I just learned a few weeks ago that on 1/2% of people who get the mailed applications actually respond and apply. But, that is still the way they get the most customers. I guess the saying is tru for them: "The more at bats, the more hits you'll get." Just pound people with a ton of apps and maybe they'll apply sooner or later!

I already have a Disney card and keep getting the applications too. Can deal with that but it is all the checks that they send that scare me to death. I would never use them and fear that someone might steal them out of my mailbox and use them.

Also a bit upset as I did not get my double points promised and I put almost everything on the card this month. Very disappointing. Will call tomorrow and find out why. I want those points!

Linda,
Don't worry, you will get the bonus points, they just dont show up right away. I believe it take up to two statements for them to show. Don't forget to read all the small print. :)

There was a phone number in our paper last year that you could call and ask that ALL banks stop sending unsolicited credit card offers. I did it and it really cut down on the number of offers I get, although I still get them from groups I am affiliated with, like alumni associations.

Hi Aim, thanks for the encouragement. We are leaving in about two weeks but have another trip planned for October so hopefully they will have it all figured out by then.

Love your Curious George icon. My six year old grandson read three of those books today while I was working with some other students. It is always a delight when he is able to read books that I used to read to him.

If you like, you can call the number on the card offer and ask to be taken off their mailing list. I was being stalked by the "What's in YOUR wallet?" peolple and the mailings stopped after I requested it. I've done it a couple of times and I notice my mail is a lot lighter.;)

I do have the Disney Visa, though. It's the only card I use and I use it just like a debit card. So far I have over 400 points/dollars accumulated.

They have been sending them to me as well. I have received at least 1 offer per month for the last 4 or 5 months. DH has not received one yet and he is the one with the job. Go figure...

I called this morning and they explained that the double points would not be credited until the end of the campaign in July. Will not be able to use the points this trip but will in October.

Another thing, I requested that they not include those checks in my mailings and it was easily done. Just goes to show that you do not know until you ask.

i get at least one a week, i agree it's insane!

i'm sure i'm also on a few list as we're DVC, i bought from the disney store online recently, and it seems the mailings have really picked up since i make our Poly ressie!

I was beginning to think that I was the only one. I get about three a week for the Disney Visa. My husband is always wondering how much money I am "really" spending to have them want to be our credit card company.

I just roll my eyes and say I dont know what you are talking about!:duck:

Really though I was wondering if they had a clitch in the system for the past few months causing a multiple mailing.
