Disney Visa Hold on Payment

I am on the phone now with Chase. Apparently I have made too many payments this billing cycle and they have placed a 10 day hold on my last two payments of $425. This is even though the money came out of my bank of America account for both payments.

What exactly constitutes too many payments? I pay off the credit card as I use it. This is ridiculous.

i think it is a fraud thing - I made two payments on our chamber credit card and it dinged the bank and our president to make sure i wasn't using it for personal reasons

If I remember correctly, Chase only allows 4 payments per billing cycle.

I am not sure of the reason, but I seem to remember reading that in the literature.
