I recall reading that with the Disney VISA (Chase) you get a free photo at the meet&greet - but alternatively you could get a photo at any other location (ride photo, etc.). I can't seem to find this perk listed at Disneyrewards. Does anyone have recent experience using this perk?

Disneyland had been rather lax about the use of the Disney Visa photo voucher in the past, and people were in fact getting a free photo that wasn't the one from the Visa meet and greet. The Visa photo policy is now being strictly enforced. You can use the voucher to receive a free photo from the Visa meet and greet you attend. This allows you up to 2 free photos per account per day, one each for the Visa meet and greet in DCA and the Visa Star Wars meet and greet in Disneyland.

The vouchers are at the greet and they now date them, so they're being strict about claiming your photo on the same day you take the photos now, too.

They did allow this for a while. We got a picture of DD with Santa when she was 2. It hasn't been that way since DCA reopened though. They are very strict.

I will say they took some less than stellar pictures one time and let my DH pick out a different picture from that day because theirs were so bad.

Like the others here, our experience in the past was that the photo policy was flexible. Our experience in December was that we had to get a photo from the VISA meet and greet. They did allow us to choose a photo from the first time we went through, which was a couple of days before we went in with the voucher (having been back to the line again). But they would not let us choose a photo that was not from the meet and greet.

I see where the Chase meet & greet is at the Launch Bay at DLR but where is it at in the DCA? What characters are usually there?

thanks

Back behind House of Cards. It is tucked into the back corner. We found that Minnie and Stitch regularly attend.

if you have vouchers from both M&Gs, can you redeem them together or do they have to be redeemed in the park where they were acquired?

Are they still doing the photo voucher or have they done away with it like WDW?

So DLR has not stopped it. I know we got them in Dec., but thought DL along with WDW stopped doing the print and just the photos on your account. The actual photo is not listed in the perks on the Visa site anymore.
Just wondering.............

Interesting. I see what you are referring to about the wording being changed on the website. With all of the photopass changes, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the print is no longer included and the "exclusivity" of the meet and greet is now the only perk. We haven't been to the Visa meet and greet since November when they were still handing out vouchers. I too wonder if that has changed since then or is about to change.
