Disney Visa - DVC Logo?

DW and I finally got around to signing-up for the Disney Visa. Got our cards a couple of weeks ago. However, something in the back of my mind is telling me that DVC members are eligible to get the DVC logo printed on their Disney Visa. Is that true or am I just imagining things?

If it's true, are there any additional benefits to having the DVC notation on the card?

I've had my Disney Visa for 7 months now and I have never seen anything pertaining to getting the DVC logo on the card. There is only one style to the card, and it's the red one. Maybe someone else can prove me wrong, but I don't think the Disney Visa has anything special for DVC members.

There is no DVC logo on the DVC Disney Visa Card. It simply says Disney Vacation Club along the bottom of the card. Otherwise the card is identical to all Disney Visa cards. There is also no incentive for DVC members to use the card that is not given to all Disney Visa card holders. It would be nice if we got a special DVC incentive, but it hasn't happened and I don't think it will. Even if all DVC members used the card there are still to few of us compared to the entire group of Disney Visa card holders. Still it is fun to use the card!

I have heard another DVC member with the card say that when they went to use the card where members get a discount (don't remember if on property or at a Disney store) the CM caught it and gave them the discount.

Thanks for the replies. I remember when the card was first issued they were putting a small logo on the card that said something like "Member Since Day One" for those who signed-up before the card was even released. This notation was an actual graphic image that was added to the front of the standard card design. I had thought perhaps they were doing something similar with the DVC logo, but apparently not.

tj, they were doing that on the bottom line. It said member since day one and you got a pin. I got mine like two months or so after they came out and mine says ny name and then CHARTER CARDMEMBER underneath. Maybe if you ask they will put DVC Member there, but I don't ever recall any graphics being added to the standard card design at any point. Hope this helps.

There was never any logo, simply the embossed name of Disney Vacation Club and on the card where it regularly says "member since" it says Day One instead of a date.
