I know you can use your diseny dollars on a gift card right? Can you use them when booking a trip? We plan on making a big purchase on our card, if we can pay for the reservation with it along with another form of payment.

Yes, no problem with that. I did it last year when paying off our FD vacation.

To expand on the previous answer - it is no problem to use the Disney VISA dollars - just make sure you have transferred them to a card and have the 16 digit card number to give the CM over the phone. We have done this twice now.
