Disney Visa/Disney Rewards Card

I'm ready to transfer our reward dollars onto a reward card for our trip in August. For anyone who has done this in the past, can you give me an idea of what the expiration date will be or how long they gave you to use your rewards card? I'd hate to have all of my rewards transferred and have the thing expire before the end of August. Thanks in advance!

Kate - I believe if you go on the chase website you can go to the "manage rewards" section - as I was just there a few minutes ago - anyway - it tells you when your point expire - mine expire 12/2007 if I leave them in the account - however I think (I might be wrong) - that once you transfer them to the rewards card they are only good until the end of the year you transfer them in. It only takes a few weeks - I would transfer yours in June - then in July and August you can just go on line or call to add any additional rewards you earn. It is really easy. The longest thing is getting the card - mine took about 2 weeks - but I would leave a little extra time. - Hope that helps....

So I can transfer them over about a month or so before we leave and then call and they'll "put" them on the card? I guess that doesn't take more than just a little computer work. Cool, I wondered the same thing.

I just transfered some points and got my first card. It took about a little more than a week to get the card and the expiration date says 12/07 (that was not my expiration date for my points if I left them in the account, that is the expiration date because I transfered them to a card). I think you are safe to transfer them anytime now and as mentioned above if you get additional points that you would like to transfer you can do so very easily and they will be added to your existing card. I am not going until Oct so I will definitely be adding to my card.
