Not sure if this has been posted yet but anyway when I was at Disneyland last week I was told that they are no longer allowing guests to use their disney visa reward dollars in combination with the 10% visa discount if you pay with your disney visa. You can either use your rewards to pay or you can use your disney visa to get the 10% but you can no longer combine the two.

Some CM's allowed me to combine as long as I still had a balance due while others said I couldn't. Also you used to be able to just show your disney visa and get the 10% discount but now they say you must pay with your disney visa.

Same thing with gift cards too you can't combine the 10% disney visa discount with them either.

I can understand having to pay with your disney visa to get the 10% discount but not being able to combine them with gift cards and especially the disney visa reward cards since they are both chase offers makes no sense to me.

Chase is doing all sorts of stuff to cut down on their money outlay. this is likely just another thing.

But I also think it might have to do with the inclusion of the Disney Rewards DEBIT card...holders of that debit card get the same, it seems, perks as the rewards CREDIT card...but of course they likely make less money from debit card holders (except for that $25 yearly fee). So to make sure CMs aren't giving credit perks to debit holders...I think they just watered down the perks and made it across the board.

Since I have one of the debit cards...um, sorry. :flower3:

(no free stroller rentals anymore, either)
