Was wondering if anyone has ever used the checks you sometimes get in with your statement. You know..the ones they tell you to use and it's usually a lower interest rate or something for a time period.
I've never used one..but I'm trying to accumulate points on our Rewards card. I have a school tax bill due May 10th..and was thinking I might use one. I'd just use the Chase Visa card itself..but they charge 2.75% extra for credit card payments. Normally I just write a check...and that had me thinking..maybe I could use the Disney Visa Check. The town gets their taxes..without an additional 2.75%..because I'm paying by check..only it gets billed to my card, where I'd be able to get some 40 points. I'd pay the Chase bill the same day..just go to Chase and pay off the charge. Did that last week with some airline tickets..where we get 5 X's the rewards for a promo running now.
Anyway, never have used the Chase checks? I usually just shred them. Wondered if it's billed to your account any differently or if anyone has had experience doing this? Thanks for the input.
