Disney Visa "CHARACTER MEET & GREET" ??

Has anyone used the Disney Visa to take advantage of this "free" offer?
Where does it take place ( Epcot, MK,etc?). Do you need to do anything special ( certain time of day or reservation) and what do you do? Thanks for the help. We are getting close to going.

it is in epcot, in the inoventions building, ( can't remember if it was east or west?) we showed the CM in line our visa card then they wrote something on a list,(not sue what) then we went in. we had mickey and ploto. the cm where taking some pictures with there camera and with ours!! it was great to have the charachters to our selves just for a few min.

We took advantage of this charachter interaction opportunity and free photo in September, but I was pretty sure that this promotion was tied to the Happiest Celebration on Earth.

Now that they've switched campaigns, I don't know that this is still going. I did check the Disney Visa website, and it's no longer mentioned under the disney offers.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's gone.

We just used it late Oct they extended it until 9/07. As stated in new card sign-ups but is for everyone from the Disney web-sight.

It's in Innoventions west right past the firetruck on the righ side.

From 1:30 to 4:30pm and you could have any of the fab 5 show up . Mickey was in his Blue and White Dreams suit when we had him.

Just remember to get your free photo from that day before you leave .

The rest can be added to any of your Photopass cards for viewing or purchasng later or adding to the CD.

Does anybody know if you can do this more than once--not on the same day, but if you're doing 2 days at Epcot can you go back again?

We did it last January (just once) & it was great! Private interaction with the charaters & a great FREE family picture with Minnie & Goofy.

Yes it is still going on and the latest rewards newsletter we got from Visa lists this meet and greet. 1:30 - 4:30 in Innoventions right behind the firetruck. We were there in November. Remember if you have 2 cards with your account to have each adult should both cards, because you will receive 2 vouchers for free pictures. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy each in their blue sparkly dreams outfits. Same ones that were in the Epcot Character encounters behind the fountain shop, which got me wondering, when the visa meet and greet is going on, do the characters in the Epcot Character Encounter change? They are so close together that you could walk from one to the other and the Epcot Character Encounter is from opening until 5pm.

IN DCA you can use your voucher for any pic taken that day, not neccesarily the Disney Visa one. Is this this the case in Epcot? We hated our pic from the Meet and Greet and got the one of us in front of the Golden Gate instead. Is this allowed? If Mickey is in his dream garb, I doubt we'll switch it, but just wondering!!

It depends on what CM you get at the kodak store . Mostly no they make you pick from the M&G but we did get to choose another one once in June.

We normally do over 10 to 15 pics with the M&G so we find one that fits the bill for the free one.We know how they work haveing done both the DL and the WDW several times. We get right in there and start switching us around getting the characters going.All of this takes very little time to get many pics in.
