I spent $400 at some point last year on my Disney Visa card and they sent me a voucher for one free airplane ticket to be used this year. Anyone done this successfully? We're going to WDW in September with all 3 kids including a 2 year old. I would love to take advantage of this so that I'm not paying full price for the baby. Are there any catches? Can I still get the flight I'm interested in (non step Delta)? Or should I just wait for a Ding from Tulsa? I've never done this before either...

Didn't know about this? I spent a lot more then $400.00 on my card last year and never got a voucher for a free air ticket? Can you tell me what the rules were? Maybe it was for just your part of the country?

I'm curious to know if anyone else got a voucher? We spent over that amount also & no airline ticket. If I'd known that I wouldn't have purchased one this year for WDW.

Sorry- I should clarify. You had to spend $400 during a few week span last summer (we bought DH a grill for father's day). They sent me a voucher with a phone # on it and it has to be redeemed by late this year (November?). The catch seems to be that you have to use their (Chase card services') travel agent and you must book all seats through them to get this deal. It's also only good for LAX or Orlando (the WDW destination cities).
My question is: anyone taken advantage of it and is it worth going through this TA when I'm already using another to book the rest of my trip?

You won't know the costs until you contact that travel agency to inquire. Let us know what happens.

We received the coupon and tried booking with it for our upcoming vacations. We tried using it about 3 different times of year and it always came back with no avaiablity. We finally just gave up!

We received a voucher for this promotion and we also tried to use it for over 30 dates and different airports (we live in Upstate NY and we tried SYR, ROC, and BUF). All of our attempts came back with either no availability or a higher airfare than was quoted on the voucher.

I am considering sending a complaint off to the NY State Attorney General's office. This was nothing but a scam to drive revenue to Chase Bank. :furious:

Thanks for the info/ warning TLH1977 and Drcell01. That's what I was afraid of... It does reek of a scam doesn't it?

HI,
I have tried about 25-30 diff. dates as well with the voucher and it always says nothing available....I think it was a scam...It makes me mad that disney visa would be a part of it...I finally threw mine out...Thinking they never intended for us to us it....UGH!!!

I got mine last fall and have been trying to book out of Detroit and Flint with dates that varied by one month and all I got was No availability! I actually thought that it might work! :rotfl2:

Same for me, tried & tried using and NO AVAILABILITY! :confused3
Why did they send them out, if there weren't going to be flights.
I started the search as soon as I rec'd coupon and even tried 3 different airports. :rotfl2:
