Disney Visa Card

Can someone explain the advantage of getting the Disney Visa card (beyond the $75 signing bonus, character greeting, etc.)? Are the discounts better than what you get from being a DVC member or having an annual pass? Does it pay more than 2%, which I can get from a lot of other credit cards as a cash rebate or airline miles?

Honestly, the perks aren't all that great but I love my Disney Visa and use it all of the time! Here's how we (DH and I) work: we put all household based purchases on the AmEx and end up using those points for miles to fly (to WDW for the most part). Any of my own personal purchases go on my Disney Visa.

I have taken advantage of their 5X rewards every now and then (you have to find it on the website), every time I go to WDW or DL (socal resident w/ an AP so i'm there often....i'm going tomorrow!) I take advantage of the free character meet and greet and 5x7 picture and get the free stroller at DL. But my personal favorite is watching those Disney Dollar/points grow bigger and bigger and I cash it in right before my trip to WDW and that ends up being my fun spending money!

I love it and am proud to have CHARTER MEMEBER and member since DAY 1 on my card!
