Disney Visa Card ? When will I hear an answer?

Hi everyone,

I recently booked the Disney Visa package at Pop Century to start off our DVC vacation in March. My question is that my initial deposit is due December 1st, but I just applied for the Disney Visa and am afraid that I will not know if I am approved by then. I booked the trip under a regular Visa for now, but how long did it take to hear back from Bank One to know if you were approved or not. I really do not want to miss out on the extra points that would be generated by putting it all on the card. It does say you will find out within 30 days, but how long did it take for anyone that has already received their card?

I already have a Bank One account and am hoping that will speed up the process.

This isn't going to be a helpful reply. We applied and it took forever! We called to check on the status and were told it was denied?! We found that odd since we have really good credit and recently purchased a home. About 3 weeks after we were supposedly denied the cards came in the mail.

So I have no idea how long it will take.........

...but I think mine took most of that 30 days!

However, you could make the initial deposit on another card and pay the remaining balance on your new Disney Visa. That way you'd still get the bulk of the points, right?

Thanks for the reply's. I guess I will just have to wait and put the balance on the new card in January when it all needs to be paid off.
