Hi everyone! I searched online and couldn’t find anything so I thought someone here might know. Is there a benefit to paying off the balance or any part of your trip on a Disney Visa card (we’ve had the card for about a year now)? We’re trying to figure out if it would benefit us in any way to pay it off using the Disney Visa..? If not, we’ll just use another card. Does anyone know?
Thanks for any help!

I don't have a Disney Visa but my understanding is it gives you 6 months of no finance charges to pay off a trip.

I got mine about a year ago as well- when they offered money on your statement. I ended up buying a D & B bag off the Disney website for a great price and haven’t used the card since. This is a good question and pertains to us, as we’re traveling to WDW next week. I’m bringing the card in case we shop/eat anywhere that we can get a discount. I found this site:

Well if you have a package booked it gives you 0% apr for 6 months.
Also you'd earn rewards dollars as you do with any purchase made with the Disney visa card.

The reward dollars! Premier is 2% and regular is 1%, or at least it was before we switched to the premier a few years ago. We paid for a significant portion of our Disneyland trip in 2015, including airfare, and have amassed a substantial amount of Disney dollars that we will use for our upcoming trip. You can also use your Disney Visa to buy Disney Gift Cards at a club like BJs, where they are 5% off the face value. Combine the savings will be about 6 % for the 1% reward card.

Oh, well that is the one I have. I thought both cards gave the 2% for Disney expenses.
You are essentially paying the $49 per year for the 2% rewards for Disney purchases and other qualifying purchases.
I started out with the premier and realized I don't use my card at enough qualifying places since I often use cash so I dropped down to the regular with no annu as l fee.

We use it to buy our annual passes every year so it's a nice chunk of savings. We then apply the rewards dollars to the following years AP renewal. We usually earn about $500/year. I have 3 rewards credit cards, and only use the Disney for gas (2%) Disney purchases (2%), and my "1% places" (places that only earn 1% on all my other rewards cards). I charged a $2000 car repair the other day to my Disney Visa. Instant $20.

Thank you everyone for the information and replies. :) There’s no annual fee with the card we have so I think it’s a regular card and not Premiere. Even if we earn 1% on it, any amount is better than nothing. Thank you again!!

Remeber you are earning 1% on every purchase you make with the card not just when paying for Disney. You do know that right? If you look on your statement you'll see how many rewards dollars you have to date.

Queen of the WDW Scene .. thanks for letting me know. It’s actially a credit card in my boyfriend’s name and I’m not even sure if he’s used it yet besides for Christmas gifts he bought me! I’m going to let him know all of this because now that I know, when I buy things I’m going to use that card and just pay it off right away like it’s my “debit card.” He never likes to have any “credit card debt” so pays everything almost right away. It’s how he’s always been and I don’t think that’s gonna change! lol
