I signed up! I spoke with a Disney store employee and she stated the interest rate is kinda high on the card, haven't read anything on the card yet. Would you have any idea of the rate?
I guess the free reward dollars would be worth it.

What is the difference, beside getting rewards, between this new card and the old Disney Credit Card? Are they going to have both cards or replace the existing Disney Credit automatically with the New Disney Visa Card? Anybody know the answer?

We tried to apply for the card but it is only available to U.S. citizens, anyone know if this will change?

The new card will replace the Disney Credit Card. Besides rewards, the main difference between the cards is that the new one is a VISA card meaning you can use it wherever VISA is accepted, whereas the old card could only be used for Disney purchases.

Does anyone know WHEN the Disney Credit Card is going to be eliminated? I knew the Disney CLUB membership was being eliminated at the end of 2003 but had not heard that the Disney Credit Card was.

The Disney VISA is simply one of the thousands of VISA cards that are issued in partnership with some organization. I love my Disney Credit card precisely because it DOES allow me to use it only for Disney related purchases. I have a VISA and don't need or want another one.

I remember awhile back that the card would be connected to First Usa bank. Is that still so? If I already if a First USA Visa, can it be "converted" to a Disney card?
