Disney Visa Card for DVC

i was thinking about signing up for the Disney Visa Rewards Card to pay for my membership into DVC. it says you get 0% APR for 6 months with a qualified Disney resort purchase. has anyone done this with DVC and been able to get the 0%?

I was looking for that card - do you know which one it is - there are a few disney cards out there and I applied for the wrong one - might you know where I can find the advertisement for it?

It is the Bank One Disney visa. I did my add on with the card and got the 6 months interest free.

Bank One was acquired by Chase, all Disney Visa Cards are now Chase Disney Visa.

I put my DVC add-ons and the DCL cruise on there and they all qualify for the 6 month deal. Did not need it but it happens automatically. The statement tells you how to take advantage of it if you desire.

I had saved the money for my add on, but put the purchase on my visa disney for the award points then paid off the bill when it came in. Putting such a large purchase on a charge card without having the money to pay it off would make me very nervous, i would hate to see the monthly interest if for some reason you don't pay this off in the first 6 months.

Only the downpayment qualifies for 6 month no interest.

My guide said that only 2500 of the purchase is zero percent if paying cash in full and only 1500 if I am financing. HTH!

I want to add on 55 points at HH (2 bedroom every three years) and 100 at the Wilderness lodge (Christmas at Disney) but can't afford it yet. All in due time, my pretty, all in due time.

You can also earn points on your Disney card that will change into Disney dollars. 1 dollar for every 100 spent (but it adds up on large purchases like that).

I put my cruise on the card and the 6 mo. interest free activated automatically. I paid it off, then cancelled the card. That was in 2003. I just reopened Disney Chase card for interest free until 1/07( not a typo) on all purchases and transfers. You may want to ask about that deal on a new account! I just did this last week.
