Disney Visa booking question

I personally do not have a disney visa. My boss uses a disney visa as her business card. She is willing to allow me to use the company card to book our vacation, but is this possible to do, does the card have to be in my name for the package. Do you have to pay with the card. Could we just give the card info but pay differently. She does not care if I charge it on the card. I would have the card in hand and billing address etc when booking. Just curious. It was very kind of her to offer. (I do have to pay her back though:confused3  )

I think it's fine, and you do have to pay with the card.

Very nice of her! See what offer you get.

I found that the fall package offer would have saved us a lot more money than the free dining, but don't think we'll go either way (airfare too much).

For the value and moderates, it seems like a good deal.

I used my card to book for both my ressie and my parents and got the deal on both! You will have to both put a deposit on the hotel and pay in full with the Disney Visa for the code to apply!

As far as comparisons between this deal and the fall deal - this one was WAAAAY better (in my experience anyway).

We are both staying at a deluxe resort with the deluxe meal plan at christmas time (12/20-26).

On my parents room (3 adults with deluxe dinning) we are saving: $1,522 off rack rate!

On my room (2 adults) we are saving: $1,294

Total savings: $2,816 :cool1:

Our original savings was only $400 each with the fall code, for a total of approximately $800.

Wow - that is great, and over Christmas day! I had been looking at the Contemporary (just looking...;) ) and the fall code would save me and my two kids about $1100 for 5 nights, no dining. The price for dining for us would be about $500, so if we didn't get a room discount, the fall rate is better. I am going to call today, just out of curiousity... But the plane fare is still $300 per person, yuck. This was a "whim" trip, not planned at all.

Anyway, that is great for you!

AFAIK, you only need to put down your deposit with your DVR. You can pay the rest of the rez with another card. However if your dates are within 45 days, then you would have to pay with the DVR in full.

My .02...

My first CM told me I would need to show the card at check-in. But he also screwed up and didn't apply free dining to our reservation, just took our money. So I don't know how much he knows.

Something to find out before using someone else's card.

They just sent a reminder to the CM's stating the name on the card has to be on the res as well.
