Someone posted about the Disneyland Visa card on the CB, and I wanted to make sure everyone over here saw it as well. They are offering a choice of five cards, and have some nice little DL perks available for the celebration, including free strollers, which is a nice little perk if they are as expensive at DL as they are at WDW.

Well its about time they come out with some decent park benefits. I've been considering cancelling my Disney Visa because it hasn't lived up to my expectations. I wonder if existing card holders can select one of the new cards. I'm off to call Disney Visa to find out.

I plan to call Disney Visa to see if I can pick out one of the cards. I'd really love the castle one before my DL trip in October.

I have been a Disney Visa member since it first came out. I wonder if I can switch my card to the new castle photo.

The Rewards card is great. We basicially ate 'free' last year at WDW using our points. We plan to do the same thing again this year. It is not the best in rewards but if you hit the parks often it does pay off. I am glad to hear there are some park benefits too. They were really pushing the card when we were there yesterday. Kiosks all over the place with a free backpack to applying and $10.00 Disney dollars too.

Ditto here!
If you look into this, let us know!

I just called and was able to switch to request a castle card no problem :) So go ahead and call!

Awesome, thanks Karen!!! :)

Woohoo! Thanks for letting us know. I haven't been able to get off this conference call to call them.

Thanks for the info! I'm switching to a castle card too :cool1:

In the pin trading shop in Tomorrowland, you can get the exclusive Disney Visa Card pin dated 5/5/2005. I think it was 8.95; DD just happened to see it on Wednesday during the Sneak Peek so I bought 2. Don't know if there is a limit.

 Yahhhh, I switched mine too. Almost got the classic Mickey, but figured I'd go for the 50th!

Krispe, I was debating between the Mickey and friends card (I love Goofy), and the Castle card. I decided to go with the castle card since it is a limited edition, and I'm making my first trip to DL this year :)

I wonder if the Disney Visa people realize just how much us Disney nuts wanted different cards :)

Wow! - The free stroller rental would help us out a lot, since our DD4 is very petite and will definitely need one.
We were planning on bringing our umbrella stroller along and just checking it on the plane.
This may be a silly question, but is there any reason to think that with the free stroller deal
that DL or DCA may run out of strollers?
We will be visiting Wed 6/22, Thurs, 6/23, Sat 6/25, Sun 6/26, and Mon 6/27.
I know that it is impossible to predict exactly what will happen, but what is your gut feeling?
Should we bring along the stroller anyway?
We're staying at the Residence Inn in Garden Grove, so if we don't bring it to the park and end up needing it,
it wouldn't be that easy to "run" back to the hotel to get it.
If we get to the parks early, there should be plenty available, right?
I'm also glad to see that there are more perks available for the Visa card -
We got it primarily for the rewards points, but I won't complain if they want to give us more perks!
Thanks in advance for any opinions on the stroller availability.
47 days to go!

Chose the castle design (DH will have to live with it). The lady I spoke to said it wasn't a problem to change, should receive in about 3-7 days! :cool1: :cool1:

Help!!!
So where did you all find this info out at? I went to the website and could not see the new card options.I als did not see where i could manage my rewards.CRAZY!!

Diznefreak, if you go to the link in my original post on this thread, you can see the card options there. It's not on the Disney Visa website (at least not that I can see).

Degrapevine, it does say that the strollers are available while supplies last. I don't know what the crowds at DL are like in June. Will you be walking from the hotel to the parks, or taking the ART? You may find it worth your while to bring the umbrella stroller.

I assume that we have to call them to get the design changed, and there is no way to do it online?

Am I just being paranoid, or is this just a clever ploy to get us to switch from a card that says "Bank One" to a card that says "Chase"?

LOL. It could be, Blackunicorn, but either way, it is a chase card now.
