I just used my Visa to book a package so I'm curious how you got the bag. Was it a voucher that you redeemed somewhere, did the bag come in the mail with the tickets?

They handed the bag to us when we checked in at Disneyland resort along with a voucher for a free pin of our choice and a lanyard .
We had booked the package just 10 days ahead so not sure if this is the norm.
Thanks for the quick reply. I booked two reservations at the same time, one for my son and his girl friend and one for my husband and me. Of course, I used Disney Visa for only one of the reservations (my son's) so I'll try not to be too jealous when he gets the bag.
Well I booked in May, just got my tickets for my trip in a few weeks, the backpack never came.... I don't know who to call. Exclusive member phone number is a joke, I have been on hold for 54 mins so far

Did you book a package? Or room-only and tickets separately? I'm not all that familiar with DL bookings, but I did notice that the snippet you posted in the first post indicates "...purchase a vacation package..." and I know that in WDW a room-only reservation with tickets purchased separately doesn't count.
But @Pooh2 indicated they received the bag at check-in. So it may not come directly to your home.
I suspect Disney has pulled as many phone agents as possibly to handle WDW calls right now due to Irma, that might result in a more limited staff to answer DL calls.
