Disney Visa: Applied for card after I booked my trip

Hi everyone. I had already booked and paid a deposit for my upcoming Disney trip in April. I then realized that the Disney Visa was a good thing for me and applied. I was approved, paid an additional $100 off my trip with that Visa and now I'm just waiting to get the card in the mail.

My question is this: If a Disney visa discount code comes out for resort stays, will they let me use it since I did not book this trip with the Disney visa to begin with? Or will I have to cancel the first trip and pay a cancellation fee and then rebook with the Disney visa?

Any help would be appreciated.

I booked my trip in November 2008 on the fall promotion without Disney Visa. Disney Visa came out with Free Dinning during my trip so I applied for the Disney Visa and called reservations and gave them my Disney visa info and the code for free dinning and they applied it to my existing reservation and saved me $$.
