Disney Visa and Free dining question

I know I'm a little early since free dining most likely won't be released until May but I want to book our trip soon.
My question is, if I book our trip now using my Disney Visa, will I be able to add on the free dining when it is released to Disney Visa cardholders or will I have to make a whole new reservation when it is released? If I call to add on the free dining, will they see that it was booked with a Disney Visa?

You can't just "add" free dining. It's always a brand new booking. But that's not really a big deal. They'll refund your $200 deposit and collect another one.

No, you won't lose your dining reservations. Free dining has no impact on existing dining reservations.

FYI - Last year there was no advance booking given to Disney Visa holders, we had to book with the General Public release.

You can book 6 months in advance you just wouldn't have the +10 advantage without a hotel reservation.

Anyone can make an ADR up to 180 days prior to the date they wish to dine.

If you have a Disney Resort Reservation, you can begin to make ADRs at 180 days from check-in and can make them for length of stay (up to 10 days).

6 months from each day. So 6 months for Monday's ADR Then the next day is 6 months for Tuesdays ADR etc

yep, in 2014 there was no advance booking for Disney Visa cardholders. All free dining was released to everybody at the same time.

All a resort reservation gets you is 180 plus 10 which means you don't have to call back every day when you reach 180 days, at least not for the first 10 days of your trip. You can still call or book online for every day that is 180 days from the day you wish to book dining.
