I read a while back that Disney Visa was offering $50 to open an account. Does anybody know if this is still offered? What is the websit and code? If I get the Visa now, will the points still be good for my trip in June? What are the other benefits of the Disney Visa?

They are still offering the $50 disney reward dollars at:

www.50disneyrewards.com or you can call 1-800-636-8312 and refer to key code 668K11.

After you make your first purchase they will credit your rewards dollars to your account. You can choose when to transfer the rewards dollars to a rewards card. The rewards card does have an expiration date, so don't transfer rewards dollars unless you plan to use them before the expiration date. Also, the minimum rewards dollars you can transfer to a card is 10. Hope this helps. :earsboy:

You can also get 2 of them. One in your name and one in your spouses name. This way you get $100 in reward dollars instead of just $50. I already had my Disney Visa, but got one in my DH's name and $50. My mother and her husband got 2 of them as did some of my friends. You can always cancel one of them when you get back from your trip if you dont need both. They also have special thing you can order or things to take advantage of like the Character meet and greet at Epcot. You get a free 5 x 7(I believe) picture when you show your card at the meet and greet. There are other things they send out for members only. In Disneyland they were giving stroller rentals for free to card members a while back. Dont know if this is still going on, but that is a BIG savings. Just remember not to have your rewards transferred until a couple of months before you go. We are leaving in 63 days and I will be transferring ours over in a couple of weeks. We use ours for groceries every week and I just come home and write a check to the card in that amount. I also use if for any big items to have it add up quickly. I just had lasik surgery done last month and we charged that ($3000) and wrote a check to the Visa card. Another $30!!!! I think you would benefit having one. Even if it was just for this trip and then you close the account. Good luck!! :cheer2:

The site didnt load and the phone number was for an embroidery place :confused3

Sorry, the number is actually an 888 number, not a 800 number.

1 - 888-636-8312

I tried the website again and had no problems with it loading. It is the chase disney visa website and there is a section to click on to get the 50 disney dollars. Hope this helps. Sorry for the incorrect number the first time! :wave2:

How do you find out about freebies and deals with the Disney Visa?

Also, I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and didn't get the red mickey ears logo that I requested - just a plain looking credit card. I called to make sure it really is a Disney Visa, but will I have trouble getting "perks" if it doesn't LOOK like a Disney Visa?

I wonder when they started this? They let cardholders pick their own picture not too long ago and I got the one with the Castle. I hope they're not doing away with the cute cards!! I would call them and ask if they still have the different cards you can pick from! I just clicked on the above link and you can see the different cards.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I'm looking into the card now. I think I'll try to charge our entire trip on the card. Do they ever have promotions for charging the entire balance of a package on the card besides the 0 percent financing? I hope they still have the cute pictures on the cards.
