Disney Visa - $200 sign up gift card - How fast does it come?

I just signed up for a Disney Visa because I was offered the $200 gift card. I made my $500 purchase last weekend. Does anyone who has gotten this offer before remember how long it took to get the gift card after you made the qualifying purchase? It says 6-8 weeks but I'm wondering how accurate that is. We leave for Disney in 7 weeks and I'm crossing my fingers we will get it before then! Thanks!

You should be fine, my offer also said 6-8 weeks to receive the card and I think I had it in no more than 2 weeks after the required purchase

Approved 10/26/15. First day I used 11/3 so that's probably the day it came in mail. Met miniumum spend 11/8. $200 rewards credit posted to account on 11/12/15.

i think i got mine two or three weeks after i met the spending amount. you should be fine!

Mine didn't get sent till after the first statement closed. but once they sent it it arrived in two weeks

It's a rewards credit - not a gift card. So you get a credit towards purchases you've already made. Ours came during our first statement because we met the requirement.

No ours is definitely a Disney gift card. That's exactly what it said on the offer.

What I am asking about is different than the statement credit. My offer was for a $200 Disney gift card that they mail you. You can use it in the parks.

No, it just comes off of your balance as a credit. I did use mine to purchase a $200 Disney gift card since the items I had charged to my card were things I was going to pay for anyways and that made it more of a bonus to me. I hope that helps

I got an actual Disney gift card. Some of the offers are for gift cards some are for statement credits. My mom got the statement credit and we got the gift card. We got our gift card about a week and half after making the purchase ($500 on new tires) but I told my husband at least we got a bonus for having to do adult stuff lol!
