Disney Visa $200 credit

DH applied for and got the Disney Premier Visa just in time to book free dining last Friday. The offer was that if you spent $500 in the first 3 months, you got a $200 statement credit, so we put a $500 deposit on the vacation. Does anyone have any experience on how long it takes for that credit to show on your statement? Thanks!

My 'credit' appeared in the form of a Disney gift card for $200. It came after I charged the spend limit. Maybe a month total wait.

I believe you will get a $200 gift card and not a statement credit. That's how it was for us when we signed up a few months ago. I didn't have to call for the gift card. It was sent automatically once we reached $500 on the card.

Mine was a statement credit. At one point, I logged in to check the account, and it was showing on the recent transactions. We did not receive any notification of the credit, and it was credited within the same month of the $500 charges.

Thanks all! DH's business partner, who also has the card, said he got a gift card, too. It doesn't matter either way, I guess, since we're using it for the trip. I was just wondering how quickly they did it.
