Unless I am reading something wrong on Mousesavers historical data it looks like the Visa Discount was 5 days later after the GP discount last time???

For instance:

8/26/07-9/22/07 package discounts ("free dining") for Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders 4/9/07, exp 6/24/07
8/26/07-9/22/07 package discounts ("free dining") for general public 4/12/07, exp 6/24/07

DVC holders had three days head start.

9/30/07-12/23/07 package discounts for Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders 8/13/07, exp 9/26/07
9/30/07-12/23/07 Annual Passholder room-only rates 8/15/07, exp 12/23/07

Again, DVC had a two day head start over AP holders, 3 days over general public.

Not all special discounted rates are released early for DVC holders and sometimes they go out to everyone at the same time, but generally speaking DVC will have 2-3 days before AP or FL Residents and then Gen Public.

Same with me. I was up until almost one last night watching the mens gymanstics team (I was so proud of them) and this is my second morning getting up to check on a code.

I guess it's just good practice for those early morning and late night days at Disney.

Me too!!! I couldn't go to sleep without knowing what happened to the Men. It was great to see how excited they were. But I decided to "sleep in" and check the code after 8 I was just too tired.

I like how you put that it is like training for Disney...it is very true! I really hope the code comes eventually!

This waiting is driving me nuts! I have myself booked for POFQ, then switching over to ASMovies. Am worried even with a code coming out, that POFQ won't be available to use it at and will have to switch to POR. Think I have a chance at using a Visa code for POFQ?

Same here! I called at 6:45 (Iowa time) and was told nothing today, check back in a few days... of course I asked if she knew when (knowing she'd never tell me anyways) and got the standard, we don't know until it comes out-- but EVERY single CM I have tlaked to has said call back in a few days or mentioned Thursday.... soooooooo makes me think they do know and it is Thursday... this wait is hard!!!!

My only advice is if you want POFQ and they tell you it isn't available wait a little bit and call again. I did that last year...I had AKL booked and wanted to upgrade to Poly and the first time I called they said there wasn't anything available so I called again about 1 hr later and got Poly. I actually payed less at Poly GV than what I was originally going to pay at AKL SV! I don't remember how much the total savings was though b/c I don't have my noted with me but it was significant.

I am hoping so... I am booked at POR (2 rooms) with the pin code that came out in Jan.. I am not thinking I'll get a better deal I just want to switch resorts and head to POFQ or CBR.

I just got off the phone with Disney and was told that the Visa discount is available on Thursday. I asked if it was also for the general public and she said it was for Disney Visa Cardholders only. So everyone.... get those calls going at 7:00AM on Thursday. Whew.... the lines will be crazy.

Call Disney on Thursday, ask about the Disney Rewards discount code and have them apply it to your reservation. Hopefully you will not have to make any changes in your ressie.

Can I price out the dining plan for our trip by itself to know what it would run?

There are three of us- two adults and one 8yr old
I am thinking just the basic one with a sit down, counter service and snack

At this point I am at 2300 with airfare, hotel for 5 days and 4day hoppers with water park. Didnt do the dining plan the first time we went cause I really didn't understand it.

If that was added in the cost of what I have and we ate for free basically I would be thrilled!!
