I know when you open a Disney Visa & charge your vacation you can get 6 months 0%. Is this for any any booking or just those listed on the Visa website as a "package"?

It has to be a vacation package to qualify for the 0% interest but each payment you make will individually have the 6-months-no-interest. A room-only reservation does not qualify.
ETA: You don't have to book with the Chase website. The special financing applies to reservations made directly with Disney also.

Just wanted to add each charge that posts to your account has to be a minimum of $101 (IIRC, or possibly > $100) to qualify. So if you make a $75 payment, it won't. Charges made to Disney Cruise Line also qualify for 0%.
You can do it either way. I'd probably just put the gc on my account when checking in just to get it unloaded and not have to worry about carrying it around. Why go out of your way to do this later in the vacation? It's very convenient to charge meals & purchases with the MB. jmho.
What is an SPD package?
Generally, the pricing promotions offered by Disney have no effect on the terms with Chase Bank. As long as your reservation is for a room + tickets, it qualifies for 0%. Room only res doesn't, nor do your charges for room account.
