Hi-
I currently have a room-only reservation that I plan to switch to a package deal if/when a code is released. I made the res with CRO at 407WDISNEY. Now I'm reading that in order to get the 0%, you must book your package through WDTC. I'm confused :confused3. When I call to change to a package, can I call WDTC? Will they be able to alter a CRO reservation? I don't want to mess up the 0% deal by booking thru the wrong number!

HELP!

I think any Disney package is by default a WDTC package regardless of where you book. We booked a Disneyland package and a WDW package through AAA and both qualified for the 0% financing. I suspect that this would also apply to other agents booking official Disney packages.

Now if you do your room and tickets separately or use a travel agent that does it's own bundling of the components, that's when there's no 0%.

I booked my package thru AAA and put it on my Disney Visa and got the 0%- 6 mos same as cash financing.

Thanks. Is it true that you can't make addtional purchases on the card without losing the 0%? I actually called Disney Visa, and she claimed that any payment you make goes towards the lowest APR. So if you charge $1000 one month, and you make a $1000 payment, it goes towards the vacation package (at 0%) and you're charges interest on your monthly balance.

Seems like it defeats the purpose of 0% if you can't use the card for anything else unless you want to pay interest. Am I misundertanding how it works? :confused3 I hope so!

I currently have three different amounts charged that are 0%. They all were charged at different time (2 trips to WDW and 1 Disney cruise). I still charge my other stuff on the card and when I make a payment, they pay off the regular purchases first and then what ever extra amount is left over goes toward the 0% charge that is due first. I have one that is due in December, one in January and one in March. Any extra is going to the one due in December. My bill last month was for $1800. $800 was for my regular monthly purchases and $1000 was the money charged at 0%. I paid $1000 and $800 went toward the monthly purchases first and $200 went on the 0% money due in December. I hope this makes sense and helps. :sunny:

I'm doing the same thing! I have a room only, waiting for a discount to open up then I was going to call the CR and upgrade to a FULL package with the Discount and in my first statement from the VISA it said to make sure I tell the CR that I am going to use my Disney Visa for the 0% interest so they apply the right charges... I hope I said right without sounding stupid.

I can't wait! Only 96 more days for me.... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
