Hi guys,

I've read a bunch of threads and there seems to be conflicting reports about whether or not you still get the 0% if you paid your deposit with another card already so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

My bigger question though - Do I still get the 0% if only part of my package is paid with the card? For instance, let's say I have a $3,000 limit on the card and my package is $5,000. Obviously I can't pay for the entire package, but will they still give me 0% for the $3K?

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this!

Chase wouldn't know what your vacation cost, so I'm ASSUMING that they wouldn't require you to pay the whole thing.

Also, the $200 deposit is refundable, so if they were sticklers on that you could cancel and rebook paying with the visa.

A few years back they came out with kids stay play and eat free if paid with the visa - we had already paid a deposit and some other money toward the trip, but to get the discount I just needed to pay the balance on the WDW Visa.

In my mind, this (0% financing) is a "benefit" that isn't really a benefit - WDW already allows you to pay a minimal deposit down and pay for your trip over time. If you're needing to charge a vacation and rely on 0% financing hoping to pay later, it might be a good idea to reconsider whether it's affordable.

I would say yes. For our last trip we had 0% financing for the $200 deposit, then $800 for airfare then $1800 due today and $547 due next month (We upgraded to DxDP). You can always increase your limit... I had to do that last year since our trip was 5k.

Yes. Any amount you pay on a package that has hotel plus at least 1 day of park tickets qualifies for the $0. You can make multiple payments on your package reservation, and each payment will get 6 months at 0% financing. I would guess most people wait until the 45 day mark to pay off the package, and therefore get 6 months from that time. But I have made payments earlier than the 45 day mark in order to take advantage of 5X bonus rewards and I get 6 months from that statement to pay off the amount.

Any part of a package that is charged to the Disney Visa will get the 0% financing :).

In my mind, this (0% financing) is a "benefit" that isn't really a benefit - WDW already allows you to pay a minimal deposit down and pay for your trip over time.

It's a benefit because it accumulates points to use later on. Paying Disney directly doesn't give you Disney points to use toward future stays, merchandise, dining, etc., so the benefit is no finance charge as well as having points to put toward another vacation at a later date ;).

I can say yes for certain :). We're going in Dec and my sister is paying for part of the trip and I'm paying for part. We each paid for part using different Disney Visas and we each got 0% for 6mos for the portion we paid.

Does anyone know if you have an annual pass and book a room with the Disney Dining Plan but don't add tickets if the 0% APR still applies? I know that Disney considers it a package but does Disney Visa?

Thanks for your help!
