I would probably have to agree that Cruella was the worst, all that effort and hate of little pups, just for a coat?
PETA would have just come round and dumped red paint on her anyway.

Personally, I find Frollo from Hunchback to be reprehensible. Not only for what he does to Quasi and what he wishes he could do to Esmeralda; but for his abuse of his position as a 'trusted man of G~d'.

I second that. Frollo was the first villain that made me want to throw tomatoes at the TV.

I looooooooooove Lotso! I don't think he is really a villain. There's gotta be more to it!

Really? Maybe, but the writers are going to have to create a whole new movie to convince me!

At first I thought he was going to be nice, or turn nice, after Disney's pre-release of the character for meet-n-greets prior to the movie.

After seeing Toy Story 3, I actually commented to my kids how funny it might be now for the people who got those "cozy" pictures with a cute cuddly bear back in the May pre-release, only to find out that he was pure evil... or became pure evil after his perception of his treatment by a little girl.

It happens back to the old story line about how Darth Vader became evil... taken from his mother, no father, lack of love in his live.. yadda, yadda....
and we all hoped he'd turn for the good.
It took until the end (Return of the Jedi) that he finally decided to sacrifice himself to save his son, Luke from the Emperor.

So, until they come up with Toy Story 4 and redeem Lotso's character, he is going to live on as the stuffiest, puffiest, fluffiest villain in Disney's stable!!

I would have to agree with Lotso! I thought for sure he would turn around and be a nice guy! I really wanted him to be!

I also hated Jafar.

I have to go with Malificent. Partly I think, because of her role in the Kingdom Keepers books. She is even more pure evil in those books.

I also put Scar from Lion King pretty high up on the villian list. He killed his own brother and tried to kill his nephew.

Frollo is the only one who actually makes my skin crawl ....ewww, ewww, ewww.

But for villains that are fun to hate- Lotso shot up to the top of my list this summer. Jafar is up there too. And Maleficent.

Scar is hands down the scariest (and perhaps my favorite) villain IMO. It's not necessarily that he had the evilest intentions among Disney Villains, it's that he was both more successful in his misdeeds than a lot of his peers and is one of the few (maybe the only?) that we really get to see kill other major character on screen. The hair literally stood up on the back of my neck watching his scene with Mufasa the first I saw the movie in the theaters 16 years ago, and it still happens every time I see it. It helps too that Jeremy Irons was an amazing casting choice for the voice of Scar. He does menacing so well.

I like the Evil Queen, or whatever you call Snow White's step-mother. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.

Ursula is the most like a real-life villain and I just love her song, so she kind of wins First Place in the Cool Villain category.

Maleficent has to get her props.

And Scar gets an Honorable Mention.

Jafar is one I don't care much about in the movie, but just LOVE to see in the parks. Cree-pee.
