I think this would be so much fun if they had dining with the villains. Im sure that the kids wouldnt enjoy it so much but I would LOVE it! What do you think?

What a great idea! I agree, I would love it, but my children would hate it!!

I dont see why they couldnt do it as an adults only thing....? Or for the kids, have this open to them at halloween. But for every villain, put a hero in there to. For example, Aladdin AND Jafar or Peter Pan AND Capt Hook.

They've already done it - back in 2000 - 2001 they had a Villains Dinner at 1900 Park Faire. The official line is that the dinner was discontinued because too many kids were frightened of the villains.

1900 Park Fare has villains character meal at dinner. Lady Tremaine, and Anastasia and Drisella appear along with Cinderella, Prince Charming and The Fairy Godmother.

I would really like to see a Star Wars dinner!
Or a Pixar meal?
Or a Pirate meal?
How cool would those be??
I know this has been discussed before, but there aren't really any special meals for boys. Lots of princess meals, none geared SPECIFICALLy to boys. I know my boys would NEVER go to the Castle for dinner (trust me, I've tried!)
I do think TRex might appeal to boys, but that isn't quite the same!

They did have one. It was at 1900 Park Faire in 2001. We went for dinner there on our honeymoon. We had the Queen of hearts, Jafar, Governor Radcliffe, Captain Hook, and Maleficent greeting in the lobby. It was wonderful. But there were quite a few complaints even while we were there.Alot of parents were not happy because the kids were afraid. The characters tended to stay in character, and one women was flipping out because the Queen of hearts made a neck slicing motion with her finger , and it scared the pants off her small toddler.

Hmmm the parents KNEW that it was a villain character dinner. Why would they book it if they knew their kids would be scared? I dont think anyone has the right to complain if they booked a villain character breakfest knowing it had villains. Did 1900 not announce which characters (good or bad) would be there?

It was dinner only and it was pretty WELL advertised. They had a big Marquee out by the podium that said in big bold letters VILLAINS DINNER. But you probably know just from hanging out on these boards, it doesn't matter how well something may be advertised, it is still disneys fault:lmao:

i just LOVE the idea of a Pixar dinner, and a Pirate one sounds so neat too!!

Seriously i wish Disney would just realize you can't always please everyone all the time. i realize that's what they have pretty much built their business model on, but this homogenization and "dumbing down" of so many attractions is really counterproductive.

This would be a must do every trip! I love the villians- they are so much fun! The Villians show at MNSSHP is one of it not the best show Disney has right now. If the dinner is anything like that it would be amazing.

DS8 would LOVE a villians meal. I wish there were a wider variety of characters at all the character meals.
