Hi all
Before COVID, we went to Disney every year so I feel pretty secure in my park knowledge, but I havent been to Disney World since 2019 and have only dealt with Genie plus at DL so I feel a little overwhelmed with the current GP/LL/park reservation system. I have to be in Orlando for a conference at the end of June which will allow me and my sister two days in the parks (Friday and Saturday) as well as after hours at HS on wednesday June 21. I know this will be a busy time, we are just going to try to get as much done as possible - with a focus on the newer rides. The good news is that I have stockpiled a ton of disney dollars so I dont mind spending on ILL and GP to make sure we get on the rides we want. We will be staying at the Swan. Some questions for all of you disney experts:

1. For After Hours on June 21 at HS -- we will get there at 7 pm. The park closes at 9 and the after hours starts at 10. I think that from what I have read in other posts, we will be able to get in lines at 9 for the rides but the free snacks wont start until 10. So am I right that effectively the AH events really gets us 4 hours of access?

2. On Friday, we will have a park reservation for MK. I will try to get in virtual cue for Tron at 7 am. If I fail at that, how long should I have to try to buy an ILL for that ride? Should the two of us be working to get an ILL at the same time I am trying to get into the virtual cue? I guess the downside is that we could get both reservations and ride twice.

3. On Saturday, the plan is to be at AK in the morning and then switch to EPCOT around 2. I understand that this means that I cannot try to book virtual cue for Guardians because I dont have an EPCOT reservation, but can I try to get an ILL for Guardians starting at 7 am that morning (with a ride time of 2 or later)? Can I book both an ILL for Pandora and for Guardians at 7 am or do I have to pick just one?

4. Has anyone been to Jellyrolls lately? Thinking of going there on a Thursday night - what time do you think we need to get there by to get a table??

Thanks everyone!

To answer your first question, you can get in the park for after hours at 7 and can start getting in lines for rides right away. If you do enter at 7, then you get 6 hours of access. You are correct that they don't start handing out the snacks though until 10.

Sorry, I can only really help you on #1, #2 & #3

#1 you don't have to wait to get in ride lines until the AH starts, that's the benefit, you arrive early so you can maximize that event ticket cost.Yes, the included snacks start at 10.

#2- Definitely have two people on this, make sure your full party is in the app. Be sure your app is up to date and make sure your payment is already in MDE. You can login to the same MDE from more than 1 device.

#3- you will be able to buy up to two iLL$/day just not for the same attraction and your return time for Guardians will need to be post 2pm. Not sure if you plan to RD AK, but you may not need to buy an ILL$ for Flight of Passage if you do. The nice thing about iLL$ purchases is that you can select your time, not just be given a time by the Genie. Be sure that your Swan reservation is linked in MDE so the app knows you are a disney affiliated resort guest. You can also use the two people trying strategy here too, one of you get FoP and the other work on GoG.

We just visited last week. The virtual queue for Tron should have everyone trying at 7am. The ILL, however, for Tron was available for several hours after 7am. That did not sell out immediately. my son was able to get virtual queue at 7a for an afternoon boarding group AND buyan ILL layer for a night ride, so he did ride twice in one day.

That is great to hear on the Tron timing. Would rather not purchase if we can get in the virtual cue.

Assuming you are staying on-site (or partner hotels) you can try to buy ILL at 7AM if you aren't then you have to wait till park open to buy ILL.

For your Epcot hop day there is a 2nd VQ at 1PM so you could try when you hop at 2PM to get a VQ if it is available and if not buy an ILL, of course there is a risk it sells out. I would probably watch thrill data closer to my trip to see what time the ILL are selling out
