Does anyone one know how long DVD's stay in the "vault"? And once they are in the vault, can you still get them at Disney World? Or do you have to wait for them to open the vault?

Thanks!!! And Happy New Year to all!

10 years and no, can't get them at DW.

I was wondering this as well. I'm glad I ordered a special edition of Cinderella then while they still had it at Walmart.

I thought it was 7 years. I guess it depends on the movie.

Actually, there is no real set number of years for any Disney title to remain in the vaults. There are quite a few Disney titles that have been more than 10 years since they've seen the light of day.

And once they've stopped producing the title, the Disney stores no longer sell them. You have to go to another store to hopefully find them or buy them second hand.

Amazon, Half.com and ebay are great places to find those titles that have been released to dvd. You might be surprised just how many Disney movies have yet to be released.
