Disney Vans

I bought the Donald Duck ones from Journeys, and they were only $60. I think the adult shoes are all $60 from all the sites I've seen, even the actual Vans site.

Their $60. And if you order online you can frequently buy a pair with codes for 20% off and free shipping.

Tillys has a 20% off code for one item right now.

Thanks for the code! Off to shop. . .can't decide between the Donald Duck or the Winnie the Pooh!

I just ordered the gray MM slip ons and received a $15 coupon off next purchase thru Vans. Going to Journey tonight to look at the Hawaiian ones.

They're skate shoes, basically lightweight sneakers. Vans also makes slip on shoes with Disney designs. Just Google "Disney Vans" and you'll get links to a number of different sellers. I've asked my stepmother, who lives in the US, to order a pair of these for me from Journeys (they don't accept Canadian cards or ship to Canada, and their Canadian store doesn't stock the full range):

Just an FYI, I have the Ariel ones and they HAVE to be broken in. I'm trying to break them in and wear them as much as possible. They killed my feet the other day! Hoping they're broken in by our trip!

Any tips for breaking them in? I have worn them twice and my feet were killing me. I am so disappointed!

Wear plushy, fuzzy ankle socks with them and wear them for about an hour every day for at least a week. They'll break in!

(Takes me back to my childhood - breaking in new tennis shoes every summer!)

I love both pairs of Disney Vans I got - the princess ones and the Jasmine ones. But sadly they will not be going to WDW with me... ever lol. I wear them just running errands and they hurt my feet. My Jasmine ones are broken into already but the princess ones still hurt.. I could never wear them in the parks. But they are super cute and I get compliments everywhere I go.

I have my eye on a pair of donald duck ones

I bought mine on zappos for $60 and they overnight ship. SUper cute. Hope my feet dont die. I always back up shoes in the parks though, that's one benefit of a big stroller :)

i googled it after they tore my feet up and found a you tube video where a girl microwaves the slip ons to soften them up. Obviously you can't do that with the lace up ones so I'm stuck walking in them for short periods of time. I love them so much and get so many compliments but can't wear them for any extended period of time yet.

I think people complaining about them hurting their feet aren't used to wearing vans. Vans have a flat sole so people with arched feet will have a hard time in them. Vans are virtually the only shoes I wear and I agree they have to be broken in but once they are, they are the comfiest shoes ever imo. I love my princess vans! :lovestruc

:scared: ... microwaving your shoes?! That can't be good...

Good point! I'm barefoot most of the day (even when I'm working!), so flat soled shoes are never a problem. My feet are used to not having support. I tried a pair of Vans on in a store and they feel like a standard pair of tennis shoes. I'm not particularly worried about them tearing up my feet.

I can't wait to get my new shoes!

Why do they hurt the feet so much??

Well, it seems from the comments that they haven't changed since the early 80s. They are tremendously heavy (they were back then, and especially since other shoes are so light nowadays it must feel even heavier...I haven't worn Vans since I was in Jr High School, but I have picked them up in my hand in the last couple years), they don't bend, and (this has nothing to do with breaking them in) they can hold foot stink like NOTHING else. (except for my former Doc Martens)

Those pictures look cute but from the negative comments I can say that I won't be buying any.
