Disney Vacation Planning Games

Do you have any fun family activities for planning a Disney Vacation? For example, games you might play. Web sites you use.

I created a Disney Jeopardy game that my family played on a dry-erase board (with me as Alex) that I can email to you, if you'd like!

we played disney trivia- and the DVD/tv version of it too is fun.

of course i live on this site for info and love reading trip reports to get me in the mood! i listen to DISradio or live365 disney stations at work.

we did a monthly newsletter each month before our trip with trivia and prizes for winning answers (was a party of 14 going).

my mom also had an alice themed tea party and a Peter pan themed party where we had cake, snacks and games (like throw the crocodile in the bucket game for peter pan) and she gave disney dollars for prizes. the kids loved it.

I sometimes put together a 'Where in the World Disney Countdown Calendar.'

Each day, there's a door, and behind the door a picture of a part of WDW. It's basically set up like paper advent calendars are set up. Depending on the experience level of the group going - I try to make the pictures a challenge. Each group or person has to guess the location of the picture. Maybe kids or first timers have to simply guess which park or area of the park the picture was taken- adults, especially those who know WDW - have to know the exact location.

It helps if you have your own WDW pics, but you can also find aTON by doing a Google search for WDW images.

Every inch of WDW has pretty much been photographed a thousand times over. (Which is why I kind of chuckle at most of the folks who insist on taking their OWN flash photos on the dark rides! !) er, make that a million for most spots!
