Disney Vacation Club Growth Ahead of Plan


One of Disney’s best kept secrets is continuing to build momentum. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the newest Disney Vacation Club (DVC) property at Walt Disney World Resort, has sold out of its first phase. The new vacation ownership resort, which opened last spring, continues to open additional phases ahead of schedule. The resort, which has proved popular with guests and DVC members alike, plans to open eight new buildings in its second phase, one every month beginning in March.

And to think when the idea was first discussed, many said "No one" will want to buy a DVC resort that far from the parks. I guess Disney knew.

Yep -- and far too much of a bother to open the curtains to watch the fireworks. Those heavy, heavy curtains! My hernia aches just thinking about it.

It is way too formal for Disney World. It is way too spread out. It is too far from the parks. Just keep moving along . . .

You guys are a hoot. Nice to see that BWV and BCV don't get all the flak!

We try not to dump on the old BWV and BCV, after all the rooms there are miniscule compared to SSR. I know, because this thread says so.
