I established a Disney Vacation Account last year and it has been sitting empty for several months. (I used the funds for my trip last year.) I have a few e-gift cards that I purchased on Raise.com and decided to add them to the account so it will be easier to used when I'm ready to buy theme park tickets or make a reservation for October. Today I received an email with a special offer code. When I click on "book now" the price don't seem that much different than regular price.

Has anyone else gotten this email and booked from it? Am I missing something? I've never received a Pin code that everyone talks about so I was excited thinking it was my turn. :confused3

An email PIN code will have a link that asks you to verify your identity (usually last name and zip code or phone number). It will also have a unique code that is 15 digits long (no letters), in case you would rather call CRO to make your reservation. Email offers that are available to the general public don't contain an offer code; or if they do, the code is 3-4 characters long and will include letters. I got an email offer yesterday, but it wasn't a PIN code. It was just the same offer that is available on the website.

I get those emails. They sort of look like a "deal" but when you price it out they really aren't. I think they are meant for those of us that don't know better.
