Disney Vacation Account

Has anyone had issues accessing the Disney Vacation Account site? I'm trying to create an account using my Disney login and putting cash in and I keep getting site temporarily unavailable. This seems to be the case too many times. What good is a site like that when you don't have access to it. I want to put money into it when I can not when Disney wants to so I'm doing a one-time deposit and will make deposits going forward. Is this site reliable or just not worth it? Again, a very frustrating Disney website experience!

I was having problems the other day. I kept putting in my password and it kept telling me "my account has been shut down for security reasons". After going through several things with the IT guy on the phone I asked if it had anything to do with Chrome. I explained how my student loan site won't let me in my account on Chrome. He said he had never heard of that. So I went to Internet Explorer and sure enough it worked getting on the Disney Vacation Account just fine. There was another time there were some problems system wide for the site, but other than that I love it. Just remember you can't take the money out once you are on property. There was a lady the other day who didn't know and was now stuck at WDW with no access to the money in her account.
